How Sunset National Insurance Company collects, uses and protects information submitted through this website.

This Privacy Policy describes how Sunset National Insurance Company (“Sunset,” “we,” “us”), operating the Sunset Surety Bonds website at sunsetsuretybonds.com (the “Site”), collects, uses and shares information about visitors. It is posted in accordance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you use our forms, we collect what you enter: your name, e-mail address, phone number, mailing address, business name and structure, the bond type, amount, obligee and state you are asking about, and any notes you add. Please do not submit Social Security numbers, dates of birth, financial account numbers or other sensitive identifiers through the Site; our online forms are not designed to receive them.
- Information collected automatically. Our web host may record standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time). The Site does not set its own tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address when the Site loads; see Google’s privacy policy for details.
How we use information
- To respond to your request, message or inquiry, and to notify you when bonds become available;
- To prepare, underwrite and service bonds and policies you request once we are licensed to do so;
- To operate, secure and improve the Site; and
- To comply with insurance, anti-fraud and other legal obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We may share information with service providers that help us run the Site and our business (for example, form-processing, e-mail and hosting vendors, and our licensed producers), with consumer reporting agencies when you separately authorize a credit review in connection with a credit-based bond, with regulators and as required by law, and in connection with a merger, financing or sale of our business.
Your choices and rights
You may contact us at any time to correct or delete the information you submitted, or to ask what information we hold about you. California residents may have additional rights under California law, including the right to know, delete and correct personal information and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights, to the extent those laws apply to us. Do Not Track
Because the Site does not track visitors across third-party websites, it does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
Retention and security
