One policy for the building, the contents, the income and the liability.
Commercial multi-peril combines property and liability coverage on a single policy with a single premium. Sunset National writes it as a Businessowners policy for small and mid-size businesses and as package policies for larger or more specialised accounts.

Premium is developed from construction, protection class, territory, wildfire exposure, sprinklers, the age and updates of the building, deductible and the limits you choose, plus the class and sales of the business for liability. Earthquake is not covered under the policy. Coverage for certified acts of terrorism is offered on every policy and may be accepted or rejected; fire following such an act stays covered as California law requires. Cancellation and nonrenewal follow the notice periods in the California Insurance Code.

Frequently asked
A Businessowners policy is a pre-built package for eligible small and mid-size businesses, with the property coverages, business income and liability already combined and priced together. A commercial package policy is built part by part for accounts that fall outside those eligibility rules: it adds coinsurance, a choice of causes-of-loss form, and optional inland marine, crime and equipment breakdown coverage parts.
